Do you hate mondays? Well, you should know that if you want, they can become the most special day of the week. Although it is not your favorite (because possibly the # 1 position is taken on Friday or Saturday), it can become a special day, leaving aside forever the typical sadness that starts the week again, with all its routines.

Sunday afternoon sadness

There are people who as soon as Sunday afternoon arrives they already begin to be sadder than necessary. Even if you are a happy and positive person and even if you feel that your work is great, you may feel a little down on a Sunday afternoon. The hours go by so fast! Why don’t they go by this fast when you’re in the office ? Because leisure and relaxation time is not the same as work time. This we all know.

Learn to enjoy mondays

Do something on Monday that you would do on the weekend

Mondays don’t have to be boring, far from it! For that reason, do something different. Enjoy a game night, meet a friend you haven’t seen for a long time when you leave work, go to an event that interests you, talk to someone you haven’t talked to for a long time, even on the phone, etc. Your brain will feel much happier if you do different things and thus, you get out of ‘the horrible routine on Monday’.

Prioritize tasks, you have the whole week ahead of you!

Maybe when Monday comes around you want to cover more than you can do. Do not get so overwhelmed , do what is priority and what is not absolutely important and that can wait, then, leave it for the next day. Organize and prioritize, so you won’t feel so stressed as soon as you start the week. Plan the week with an agenda and thus, with everything organized, you will feel much more comfortable every day. Your quality of work will improve and your sanity will return to normal.

Drink lots of water (the rest of the week too)

Drinking water is essential to have good health, but also to be better concentrated and to feel happier all the time. Water gives life and makes us feel good. It is not necessary to drink anything else. With the stress of work, customers, answering calls or emails, etc. This can prevent you from drinking all the water you need. You can hydrate in a fun way. This consists of adding frozen fruit to your clear water bottle. For example, you can put chopped cucumber or chopped lemon. Your brain will feel better seeing these foods in the water, and it will taste better too!

Smile!?

You can’t forget the most important thing you should do as soon as you start the week … Smile! This is a must do no matter where you are. Remind yourself of your opportunities and show appreciation to anyone who has helped you get there, including yourself!
