We are living in a time when doing sports is in fashion, and few things can be as positive as this . Because whether it’s bodybuilding, running, Pilates, yoga, pole dance or soccer, practicing any type of sport is highly recommended on a physical level. It makes us discharge toxic emotions , relax our mind, allows us to stay in shape and have a good state of health.

But while it is true that all sports are positive, there are some with which, while training the body, the mind can be trained. Sports like yoga, for example, make the person who practices it end up controlling their emotions better and getting to know themselves better. Although there are a large number of sports that, in addition to yoga, allow us to relax both the body and the mind. Do you want to know what they are?

1. Bodybalance

Let’s start with one of the most popular sports in all gyms today: bodybalance . It is a discipline that receives different names, depending on the specific technique used, and that combines characteristics of other sports such as yoga, tai chi and Pilates. In this way, the physical effort is greater and the probability that you control both your body and your emotions, too.

With the bodybalance you will begin to improve your ability to balance and your flexibility , as well as you will find your moment to relax. It is a considerably tough sport, and it would be nice if you started at a lower pace than other teammates who were more advanced. But it will allow you to relax your mind, and, little by little, you will get to know yourself and your body more .

2. Running

There is much talk about the positive qualities of running, and there are those who think that it is exaggerated … But nothing is further from the truth! It is recommended, above all, to go for a run in any outdoor space, since it will help you disconnect much faster from your problems and release your emotions.

It is not necessary that you run ten kilometers, or that you go at a very strong pace; it is enough that you jog a little, enjoy the environment and begin to get in touch with everything that surrounds you. That will make it easier for all those problems that previously seemed so big to disappear quickly .

3. Tai Chi

It is well known that oriental sports not only allow you to gain great physical shape, but are also positive for mental health. By being slow and requiring you to be exclusively aware of your body, it will make you disconnect from all those toxic emotions and begin to focus only on what brings you positive things. You will be looking more and more in your life for everything that allows you to be relaxed, because stress will disappear quickly with Tai Chi sessions and you will not want to attract it again.

4. Tae Bo

The Tae Bo is very little known, but very positive. It is a perfect mix between Taekwondo and Box, and usually has music as accompaniment. The exercises carried out in this discipline are short, simple and easy, making it a good option for anyone who wants to start moving.

In addition, the movements help improve concentration and make your mind become stronger and stronger; the physical and psychological part is worked on at the same time .

5. Swim

If running is a sport that allows you to get in touch with nature, imagine swimming! There are few sensations more pleasant for the human being than to submerge in a swimming pool and leave behind all the toxic emotions; Thanks to this sport, you can do that while gaining fitness. Not only that, but by swimming it is also possible to increase muscle mass and tone, in addition to lengthening the muscles. All advantages!

Remember: having a healthy mind is just as important as having a healthy body, and if you can do both at the same time, even better!
