Being self-aware is a problem that affects many people since the beginning of time. It is necessary that you regain your confidence and thus put an end to the problem that it can generate on an emotional level . Being too hard on yourself is totally unnecessary, being critical to exasperation will only make you suffer for no real reason.

No matter the source of your insecurity, whether it’s from social media use, people’s comments, or clothing size, your insecurities can be gone forever. It seems that being critical of ourselves is learned from the beginning.

Looking in the mirror and hating what you see, or walking around in an outfit and realizing that it doesn’t fit how you would like it to. The demons that fuel these insecurities are the ads, models, store sizes, and people that fuel these insecurities. But it does not have to be like that. In fact, you can easily change this. To get it all comes down to you.

How to stop being the worst critic of your body

First thing in the morning, look in the mirror while wearing your chosen outfit for the day.  Unlike the fairy tale, you are not going to ask what you look like; you’re going to stand in front of the mirror and say at least five things you like about yourself. For this to work better and have faster results, try not to repeat the same thoughts every day. If it’s a date day or a girls’ night out, you may want to do this not just in the morning, but later in the outfit you’re wearing that night as well.

The key to making this effective and working is to stand in front of the mirror for a while, really think and enforce positive thoughts. Don’t think of anything negative; if you do, get it out of your head immediately

Out the negativity

Ignoring negativity is also key.  Negative influences can be rude people and comments that make you feel horrible even for no reason. If this is the case, you should disconnect them. One of the most negative influences that most people don’t even notice is when they see an ad in the media. Most of the women or even young girls who see these ads punish themselves for not looking like the model.  For them, the model is what society and men consider attractive.

Seeing these ads shouldn’t create a strong enough influence when we start to think why we’re not skinny, pretty, toned, or slim enough. Now being overweight is unhealthy, and if that’s the case, then exercise and food changes are important. However, in most scenarios, it is important not to change.  The models in these ads are not only photoshopped, but could also be in poor health, which is not good for anyone.

The key to unplugging negativity is learning to love yourself and be confident rather than punishing yourself for what you don’t seem like.  By doing this, you will wake up one day and all the negativity will disappear and you will have officially disconnected it.

If you are going to change for other people or go with what is a social trend, then don’t do it.  This can be unhealthy and will also make you feel less confident. The best way to change is to change what you really want. This is not only healthy, but it will satisfy and increase your confidence , since it goes with what is your ideal image of yourself, not the ideal image that others or the media have put on you. This will also help you maintain confidence.

How to stop being shy

This is crucial.  If you don’t have confidence or you don’t work to build your confidence, every time someone makes a negative comment about you or you see something that depresses you, you will believe it and fall into the routine of not liking what you see. Confidence is the good vibe that protects you from the bad. The more confident you are, the better you will be and the less insecure you will feel.

It’s also crucial to remember to avoid negativity and remove all negativity from your life, even if it means leaving your friends, family, or partner behind ; yes, that’s hard, but it will make you feel so much better and help build confidence and welcome better lifestyle choices.
