The social networks have become today a fundamental role in our lives. Since the internet came to society, everything has evolved and changed. It is no longer necessary to make phone calls to communicate, as long as you send a message through any social network such as Twitter or Instagram, you are already interacting with other people at any time and place through your mobile or any smartphone.

This addiction makes us depend on the mobile constantly. We can not stop entering social networks even for five minutes. This dependency has made the way of communicating change. Through twitter or instragram you can be connecting with other users from anywhere in the world. This was previously unthinkable. Social networks have become a new means of communication to which anyone has access.

Social Networks, a new way of integrating

In social networks, only the positive moments of our daily lives are usually made known either by instagram or twitter, so interactions with other users usually bring a feeling of recognition and happiness.

The development of technology has caused society to adapt to web 2.0 , that is, to the digital age and social networks. Many young people use Twitter or Instagram to make themselves known and obtain a position in society in order to integrate into it, these are called influencers . The followers of influencers are aware of what their reference uploads every day to social networks. Therefore, we could say that influencers generate addiction through Instagram or Twitter.

The privacy is a factor that has been lost. The moment you upload a photo, video or any information about your private life, Instagram, twitter and other social networks, they have all the data at your disposal. This is a problem of which there is little awareness. Addiction makes us publish more and more things about ourselves without any limits.

To know if we have that addiction to social networks we must …

Addiction is something that we must solve, therefore, if you feel identified with some of these symptoms , ask for help to solve it:

– Constant dependence on social networks to the point of losing track of time.

– Isolation, not wanting to interact with anyone face to face.

– Have a poor performance at work or at school.

– Present any attitude of sedentary lifestyle .

– Not resting properly.

– Check Twitter or Instagram as soon as you get up.

– Leaving home without a mobile phone creates a situation of stress and concern.

People who suffer from this addiction are those who seek contact through the screen because they feel lonely or bored. The isolation will be greater and greater if this dependence on the mobile is not remedied.

How to fix that addiction

When you are aware that you have this addiction to mobile and social networks, you have to put yourself in the hands of experts in psychological therapy to remedy this problem. In adolescents it can be prevented but in adults it is more complicated. The objective of these psychological aids is that the patient is aware of said addiction and that with the passage of time they have an appropriate behavior.

Doctors recommend turning off mobile phones at night so that they cannot interfere with our rest, just as we must prioritize personal relationships over virtual ones so that our minds obtain greater openness. Also our closest environment can help us reduce this addiction.
