Doing good deeds means helping others … doing good . If you do good deeds, you can feel better about yourself and your environment. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that you had a positive impact on someone’s life as a result of your kind efforts.

It’s as easy as taking time out of your day to help someone or participate in activities that enhance your well-being and this will help you bring a little good karma into your life. If you don’t know where to start, we give you some suggestions to get there, you can start today!

1. Buy food for a stranger

No matter your situation, there are always opportunities in life to help someone. There will always be someone with less than what you have and any gift will always be welcome. The next time you go shopping for food, think of someone who would do well if you bought something to eat, and just go for it.

2. Don’t just say thank you; leave a tip!

It’s a good feeling when a complete stranger comes up to you and offers advice to welcome a conversation or just makes you smile.

 So, to start your week on a good note, don’t hesitate to first ask permission to pay a compliment and once you have it, simply let you express your knowledge for the good work of another person.

3. Give your friend a child-free day

Ask a friend or family member if they would like to have a child-free night. If your friend has a long work day ahead of him or is busy with other tasks, offer to take the stress off his hands for a few hours. Every parent can appreciate a break to be alone once in a while.

4. Your old sweaters could be used in a new home.

Find an organization where you can donate your old clothes to those in need. There are goodwill stores and thrift stores across the country that will be happy to receive all of your donations. 

Think of the people who need these items more than you.  Some families even share clothes in a household , so it is good to shop at stores where clothing is extremely affordable and abundant.

5. Make a cake for someone special

It doesn’t have to be a special date … making a cake for a person you love will always be something special and it will feel good just because you have taken the time to make the cake . Who doesn’t like to sweeten life a bit?

6. Adopt an animal

A pet will help you change your life and you will also have the opportunity to give a good life to a needy animal. Whether it is a dog or a cat, choose the type of pet you would like to have and adopt it.

You need to be aware that it is better to adopt than to buy. There are many animals that need your love and a home. Contact animal associations and they will surely be able to help you.

7. Invite your best friend out for a drink

Friends are like treasures to be cared for and therefore, it is always a good occasion to invite your best friend for a drink. Your best friend is by your side whenever you need him and that is why it is a good idea to show him how much you love him and how much you appreciate his friendship. He will be very happy to spend time with you!

You only need a week to perform these actions , do one a day and little by little you will realize how good it feels to do things for others. And if you can think of more good actions as you do these, you will only have to write them down and carry them out too!
