Relationships can be complicated, especially when things are thought to last forever or when you find out in the agreement of the couple. When a person does not appreciate the details that their partner does, it is because they are despising the relationship, but there are also other reasons why a person may be despising the couple’s relationship just without realizing it.

It is necessary that if this affects you, you realize to evaluate if the relationship you have is a good idea or if you should change something. Or if, on the contrary, you are the person who despises your partner, change your way of seeing things because he deserves someone who treats him better. These are signs of subtle contempt in a relationship.

Does not respect your time

He does not respect your time because although your partner seems to not prioritize you in his time, when he wants to spend time with you, you will have to change your schedule to be able to accommodate yours. Even if you have plans, you will have to change them so that you can be together and that your partner does not get angry.

When this happens, your partner does not value or respect your time. He should know that you have a life and that things happen … but when he gets angry because you will not change things to spend time with him, but your partner refuses to do the same for you, then it is clear that he does not appreciate you.

You always have to get away with it

He is an immature person. If you don’t bend to his will and give him what he wants, he gets angry and acts like a child. This is a major proof that he doesn’t appreciate you. If I did, I would let you do whatever you want. I would let you choose the movie. I would let you decide where to eat. When it’s your way or the highway, there is no appreciation for you.

Does not listen to you

Yes, it may seem like it is listening, but it could be ignoring everything you say. This is extremely obvious when he has to ask you about the same thing over and over again. It is also evident when you are talking about your day and he does not make any comments or acknowledgments. By doing this, it basically tells you that what you say is not important. If I thought otherwise, I would actually pay attention to the things you are saying.

He does not want or respect your opinion

Does he come to you with life problems to see what you have to say? Does he ask you for advice on something? If not, then he might not appreciate having you in his life. When they don’t want to include you in the big decisions they make, they don’t want or respect your opinion. He is basically telling you that your words don’t matter and he will make the decision without you. This is obvious if it involves major life changes such as work , home, or family.

He doesn’t care what you want in bed

As long as he can satisfy his sexual desires, he doesn’t care if you remain unsatisfied … for obvious reasons, this is horrible. Nor does he appreciate you and what you do for him in bed if he is not willing to please you as you want. Obviously, this just proves how much he doesn’t really care about you. If someone is doing just what will get them to bed regardless of whether or not you finish, they really don’t care if you are or not.

He makes no sacrifice for you

Sacrifices are necessary in any relationship. It’s a give and take. You must be willing to give up some things to make the other person happy. However, your partner might not be doing this.  And that means he’s not worried about having you around.  He doesn’t appreciate you if he doesn’t sacrifice anything, especially if you do. You can’t always be the person to give up your time, or to give up the remote, or to give up certain foods that you know can’t stand the smell. If you are doing so much and your partner is doing nothing, they are just taking you for granted and despising your relationship.

You do not deserve someone who is going to despise you and who does not care if you are in their life or not. You deserve someone who works hard every day to show you how much they care and want you to stay. Get rid of unappreciative people so that you can find someone who truly deserves you in their life.
