Everyone has a bit of a mental disorder in their head, it is something common and quite normal. You are not a weirdo for feeling that the thoughts in your head are taking on a life of their own or that they bother you more than necessary. Having too much weight on your mind can make it difficult to focus or make good decisions. Also, having too many toxic thoughts can make stress, anxiety, and depression lurk too close to you.

You don’t have to retreat into the woods for a weekend to give your mind the mental break it needs. There are exercises that are simple that can help clear your mind and that disorder stops stressing you forever. We are going to explain some of these exercises so that you can do them from now on.

Digital detox

Even if you are working and have to be with your phone in your hand, you should know that spending too much time on multiple devices can affect your ability to make your work perform well, so this can also stress you out. Having a one-day digital detox may be ideal.

Even leaving the screens for a few minutes during your day can help you recover as long as you do it consciously … To be present in the moment, do nothing. Or look around you, feel the air, listen or watch the clouds move or the birds fly … this time will always be well spent.

Be active

It’s no secret that being active can improve your mood. But it can also help clear your mind . Momentarily increase your heart rate and blood pressure, communicating to your body that your attention should be focused on the present. Basically, it’s hard to get stuck on your to-do list when you’re counting abs.

You don’t need to spend an hour sweating in the gym to reap the benefits of being active. Even just 10 minutes of energetic movement like brisk walking will have a positive effect on doing things better and feeling good.

Your mind like a blank slate

To transform your mind into a clean and open space, try to represent it that way. By visualizing intrusive thoughts being removed, we began to experience a blank slate effect. This way you are regaining conscious control of your mind instead of letting it go crazy with all your stressors.

To do this, you will only have to sit comfortably in a chair with them on the floor. Imagine a bright white light descending from the crown of your head through your body until it reaches your feet. As that imaginary light descends, allow any negativity or bad thoughts that you want to break free to creep in . When you open your eyes, you will have to tell yourself that this mental disorder is gone and that now you can focus again on your life in a more positive way.

Hugs

There’s a reason hugs make us feel so good. Physical contact triggers the release of oxytocin, the hormone that promotes feelings of love and closeness. Humans are created for connection, and a welcoming hug gives us the feeling of being connected. It tells our brain that everything is fine.

You just have to give a big hug and let yourself be absorbed by that feeling of closeness. Make sure the hug is not too short because the body needs to stop and get the message that something pleasant is happening. When you finish giving the hug, then you will realize how those hormones of happiness are running inside you and it will make you feel revitalized.
