If you don’t love yourself, who will? No one will die in your place, so it is you who must love yourself above all things . People can be our worst critics of the imperfections that we find. Unconditional love for ourselves disappears. In order to grow old and be happy, we must do so with a smile on our face. Here we are going to give you some tips so that you learn to love yourself, in the most unconditional way you can!

1. Laugh out loud

Don’t take life too seriously, knowing that circumstances continually change in both the inner and outer world. Instead of feeling guilty or judging yourself, you can laugh at yourself and find humor in life’s challenges. 

For example, if you’re in a yoga class trying to make a balance pose, relax, focus and make your best effort . If you fall, laugh instead of projecting your own insecurity onto the people around you and don’t worry about what others will think. The reality is that most people are too busy and self-centered to notice the little problem you are dealing with.  And if someone looks at you askance, ignore them and keep laughing .

2. Sorry

It was a difficult choice but it is necessary to learn to forgive and accept the people who have hurt you in life so that you can forgive and accept yourself. To be more forgiving, put yourself in the other person’s shoes to understand their perspective, it’s called empathy . This will allow you to not take things too personally when someone is cruel or short-tempered, and at the same time, you won’t be so hard on yourself. Let go of anger and resentment so that you can extend that tolerance and forgiveness to yourself before others.

3. Connect

Connect with yourself and with the people you care about. You sure have many wonderful and caring people in your life, if so, try to keep in touch with them. You can throw a party and use any excuse to meet them and celebrate. Surround yourself with people who love you and who love you for who you are and who you are. This will help you love and accept yourself.

4. Feel

It is a good idea to involve the world with the senses , to capture the sense of sight you can wake up early and see the sunrise. To enjoy the smell, enjoy natural scents or essential oils. You can enjoy the taste by eating things that you like and also, touch what is pleasant to you.

5. Find a purpose

Find something that you are passionate about and give yourself fully to it. The way you share each of your passions with others transforms lives, instilling love and respect for yourself. Your passions will be the defections of yourself.

6. Speak

Talk things out, because when you start learning about yourself, you will realize that your mind has many complexities. A better understanding of ourselves, for example, can lead to mindfulness, allowing us to be kinder to our imperfections. You can use therapy to learn how to create appropriate boundaries with others, how to design a fulfilling life, and how to accept and love yourself for who you are.

7. Be active

Exercising every day is essential, such as cycling, swimming, skiing, walking or practicing yoga. When you look in the mirror every day you can be happy with what you see and you can take pleasure in your body by keeping it in good condition. People who exercise at least one hour each day enjoy life more. It is not about doing vigorous exercise every day, sometimes light exercise is the secret.

8. Sleep better

When you get enough sleep, you notice a palpable difference in your mood: you feel more positive and loving with yourself and with others.  But how can you do it? By keeping busy, you will arrive more tired at night and sleep better. Also try to go to bed at the same time each night. Maintaining a pattern keeps your biological rhythms in check, ensuring a good night’s sleep.

9. Enjoy the solitude

With so many daily responsibilities, you may think that having time just for yourself is a privilege. But taking breaks alone is good for you. You can go to silent retreats where you can tune in to your voice and your inner power, alone, with no one but you.

The time you set aside for self-care reinforces how you value yourself, and you can come back with a greater sense of courage, peace, and optimism. Spending time alone (and enjoying it) is key to learning to value your own thoughts and opinions, giving them room to strengthen and grow, and ultimately give them unconditional love.

10. Look for the good in life

Look for the good in life: in art, poetry, music, friends, family, food, exercise, and nature. Allow yourself to do the things that help you see the positive in your life. Get out and start walking on the sunny side of the street … Enjoy the little things because those are the ones that will make you feel the big soul. The truth happiness is not in the big things, they are in the small details of everyday life.

With these tips you will learn to love and love yourself more, so you can enjoy a much fuller life. You will enjoy yourself, your environment and the people around you. Because we only have one life to live and it is not worth wasting it with bad feelings or thoughts that do not make you feel good every day of your life. Enjoy life as you deserve because that is how, in addition to loving yourself how you deserve, you will be happy every day that you get up in the morning.
